This non-partisan, 90-minute virtual workshop is designed for Texans who want a clear, straightforward explanation—without political spin or complex jargon.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
What redistricting is and how it works in Texas
The different forms of gerrymandering and their impacts
How map-drawing affects communities and representation
Real Texas examples to make the concepts concrete
Ways you can take action to support fair maps
The session includes a 60-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute Q&A, so bring your questions! This event is open to all Texans who want to better understand this important issue, regardless of prior familiarity with the topic.
