Protest JD Vance

  • Tyler Pounds Regional Airport 700 Skyway Boulevard Tyler, Texas, 75704 United States (map)

JD VANCE IS COMING TO TYLER & EAST TEXAS HAS SOMETHING TO SAY.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13 | 8:00 AM
Tyler Pounds Regional Airport

Vice President JD Vance is coming to East Texas to defend the Trump administration's record. But outside the rally, Texans will have an opportunity to deliver a very different message.

WE ARE NOT SILENT. WE ARE NOT SATISFIED. AND WE ARE NOT BACKING DOWN.

While Washington politicians deliver speeches about prosperity, working families are struggling with grocery bills, housing costs, healthcare expenses, and an economy that too often rewards wealth over work.

While the administration celebrates its immigration crackdown, serious questions remain about due process, family separation, and the humane treatment of immigrants.

And while political leaders demand applause, the American people have every right to demand answers.

Hector Garza, Democratic candidate for Texas House District 5, will lead a peaceful public protest during Vice President Vance's visit.

The demonstration is expected to begin as rally doors open at 8 a.m. and continue through Vance's scheduled 11:35 a.m. speech. GOP rally on site begins at 10am.

Bring your signs. Bring your voice. Bring your commitment to the First Amendment.

Let the administration hear what accountability sounds like.

PROTEST IS PATRIOTIC. DISSENT IS DEMOCRACY. AND EAST TEXAS WILL NOT BE SILENCED.

Peaceful demonstration in a lawful public protest area; exact gathering point to be confirmed.

PEOPLE BEFORE POLITICS.
